Our first Kappa Sigma Rush event was so much fun.  We went to the Thunder game in my home town, Stockton, and got 60 free tickets.  A lot of brothers went and some of the potentials participated as well.  I used to go to a lot of games, one year I went to about 15 games.  There were 6,000 people at the game and we got every single one of them to their feet.

Kappa Sigma’s have a very strong brotherhood and we are very close. The thing I love most is that we can be doing absolutely nothing, like sitting in a room and have the time of our lives. However, at the Thunder game, we started a huge wave and got it to go all around the stadium 5 times.  We felt so accomplished and were just having a great time. I have no problem in public places anymore because our friendliness and diversity.  We have no problem having fun in public.

My favorite part of the game was yelling at the opposing goalie, I took a picture of him so that I can always remember what we were yelling and our reaction to the goals that were scored.  There are also the fights that occur, being from Stockton, I love me some fights.  Like honestly, it is not the NHL, it is like the single A for hockey.  They need to entertain people in some way, so they choose to fight a lot.  I feel like they have a quota for how many fights they have to get in, because whenever I went to the big games like on Saint Patrick’s day or when they would paint the ice pink, they would get in like 8 fights that game.

Here are some pictures from the event:
